Adam Lusker hails from Southeast Kansas, where he has spent his life as a public servant and small businessman.

 

Significantly, Lusker served as a State Representative in the Kansas House of Representatives.  His district covered parts of Allen, Bourbon, Crawford, and Neosho Counties.  While there, Lusker held a number of key leadership positions, including House Democratic Caucus Policy Chair, Ranking Member of the House Transportation Committee and Chair of the Joint Committee on State Building Construction.

Lusker has also served on the Agriculture Committee, the Energy, Utilities and Telecommunications committee, and the Joint Transportation Vision Task Force.  His long and distinguished tenure as a state representative has provided him the opportunity to work with numerous Democrats and Republicans, and develop relationships he still maintains to this day.

 

Additionally, Lusker has served in a local government capacity.  In 2009, he was elected to the Frontenac School Board, where he served for four years.

 

Lusker has deep ties to the Southeast Kansas region, and state through his masonry business, A. Lusker Masonry.  The successful organization is a member of the Kansas Masonry Industries Council, and BAC Local #15.  He has owned the business for over two decades.

 

Lusker is also a veteran, having served in the United States Navy and the United States Army Reserves.  He attended Pittsburg State University. 

 

He and his family live in the Frontenac area.
