Liz was born and raised in southwest Kansas.  A graduate of Fort Hays State University, she has a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Leadership with an emphasis in Human Services.   She has diverse work experience in higher education, economic development, small business management, and community development. 

 

She currently serves as the Chair for the Sunflower Foundation Board and is a small business owner. She is a former Commissioner for the Kansas Hispanic and Latino American Affairs Commission.  Liz is responsible for monitoring legislation in key committees on behalf Federico // Duerst Consulting Group's clients, and specializes in association management.
