Liz Sosa was born and raised in southwest Kansas and has resided in Garden City for the past 22 years. A graduate of Fort Hays State University, she has a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Leadership with an emphasis in Human Services.

 

Liz has a diverse breadth of experience in economic development, association management, community and organizational development, strategic planning, organizational financial management, and legislative affairs. Liz was the Chair of the Sunflower Foundation and served as the Chair of the Western Kansas Regional Board of Trustees for CommonSpirit Health Systems. She is also former Commissioner for the Kansas Hispanic and Latino American Affairs Commission.

 

Her connections and relationships with Legislators and community leaders from the western part of Kansas make Liz an invaluable member of the Federico // Duerst lobbying team.
